Workshop Series for Government and Business

i4cense will host a series of workshops between the Greek government and the private sector on the policy framework for promoting energy efficiency and low and zero carbon technologies in Greece. The aim of this series is to promote dialogue between government and industry on successful implementation of policies leading to an increase of investment in sustainable projects.

The themes of the sessions will focus on opportunities within specific industries - such as renewables, desalination, shipping, construction and buildings - and on cross-cutting themes on the necessary conditions for growth -such as regulatory issues, institutional reforms, public-private partnerships, green jobs and skills.

The first session in the series will take the new regulatory framework for renewable energy in Greece as a starting point for discussion on the practical conditions required for successfully implementation of renewable energy projects in Greece.
